Code-named, "Hit-and-Run", the Centurion is a fast-attack bipedal mech for the Federal army. Believing that the Liberators slow speed left it vulnerable to fast moving targets, the Federal Scientists began work on the H.A.R. Many versions of the H.A.R. were produced, each one failing to meet the requirements. Finally, a H.A.R-class mech was developed which was capable of not only escorting a squad of Liberators, but also proving a valuble tool for striking vital enemy structures.
The Centurions effectiveness lies in its flexibility and speed. Armed with a Heavy Side-mounted Gattling Cannon, the Centurion is naturally effective against ground-based infantry. However, the Centurion's armament is interchangable for a high-energy Plasma Cannon specialised in destruction of armored targets and buildings. This makes the Centurion extremely versatile in combat situations, proving it a noteworthy asset to the Federals arsenal.
