The Liberator Tank has served the Federacy for many years. Its sheer brute force and longevity have ensured its continued use for many future years to come. With the "Judgement" Railgun as its armament, representing many years of advanced research, the Liberator is able to pierce even the toughest armor and detonate within, causing massive damage. Its armor is made of raw Nitrium Ore infused with Zirkonium. The resulting alloy is capable of withstanding sustained assault from all angles of attack. The sheer weight of the armor makes the Liberator slow to maneuver and vulnerable to agile units.

Much of its success is down to the unique cooling system designed specifically for the Liberator, returning the "Judgement" Railgun to ambient temperature within seconds. Federation scientists discovered that the Liberator's cooling technology was so efficient that the Liberator would be able to wield even more firepower without sustaining extensive damage. However, the amount of energy that the Liberator was capable of wielding was impossible to generate onboard the Liberator. Hence, the Liberator gained additional hardware in the form of the Twin-Barrel "Doombolt" Particle Beam Cannon. With advanced energy-transmitting technology, the "Doombolt" Cannon was given the capability to link directly into the raw energy of a nearby Transmitter, unleashing a devastating beam of unparalleled power.
