Resources

The SunAge is upon us. On a dying earth, three factions must fight over the limited resources required to wage their relentless wars and control is everything. Securing the four sought-after resources is key to victory. Without them, you will not survive.

Nitrium Ore

  • Color: Blue
  • Rarity: Common
  • Usage: Infantry Production

Nitrium Ore is the most common resource that a commander must seek to acquire. Each battle, you will establish a base nearby a vein of Nitrium Ore. Begin harvesting immediately. Although Nitrium Ore is common, do not underestimate its usefulness. It is required to train all basic infantry, used for their protective flak jackets, and a key component for success in any engagement.

Plutonium

  • Color: Green
  • Rarity: Uncommon
  • Usage: Light Vehicle Production

Plutonium is less common than Nitrium, requiring you to branch out from your established base to acquire it. In the years leading towards the SunAge, unexpected core activity caused deep underground veins of Plutonium to be forced to the surface, contaminating whole areas. However, refined Plutonium is used to feed the nuclear reactors powering all equipment and vehicles, making it a necessary acquisition. Without ample Plutonium, you are unable to produce light vehicles, placing you at a serious disadvantage.

Zirkonium

  • Color: Yellow
  • Rarity: Scarce
  • Usage: Heavy Armor Vehicles and Aircraft Production

Zirkonium is a valuable rare metal, usually appearing deep within neutral territory, making it difficult to acquire. Being a metal with very low thermal reactivity, it is ideally suited for nuclear reaction containment and weapons with extreme thermal output. Zirkonium is required for production of Heavy Armor and Aircraft, which makes it essential for any assault on a well-defended hostile position.

Iberium Rods

  • Color: Red
  • Rarity: Rare
  • Usage: High-level Upgrades and Research

Iberium Rods are the most valuable and useful resource discovered since the dawn of the SunAge. Capable of producing massive amounts of heat, through nuclear fusion, Iberium Rods are essential for production of the most advanced technology on Earth. Couple with that the ability to harness the massive energy at your disposal with Iberium Rods and its true value becomes clear. The origin of Iberium is always in dispute but the most widely accepted belief is that it is formed deep within the Earth's core and forced to the surface by shifting thermal currents. Iberium is required for many high-level upgrades and research options, including certain alternate modes.
